07.04.2012 Sugarparks Slopestyle Contest Alpachtal by Eva Gruber & Betty Wildauer

Last Saturday Betty and I went to the Sugarparks Slopestyle Contest in Alpachtal. Unfortunately the weather was sooo bad, that it was not possible to jump the kicker. That´s why the judges decided to make a funny jam session on the rail. As Betty and I were the only girls there, we both went home with good extra-money plus Betty won a suuuper nice new snowboard and I got a very cool binding. So the trip was totally worth it!!

05.04.2012 Q-Parks Shooting at the Horsefeather Superpark Planai! by Nici Scheichl/Teamrider

Two weeks ago Q-Park invited some motivated freestyle girls to a great shooting at the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai. We had perfect conditions with blue sky, sunshine,  a great park and a lot of spirit! The outcome is also pretty good – have a look!

06.03.2012 European Freeski Cup in Slovenia by Nicole Scheichl/Teamrider

This weekend i was invited to Kranjska Gora Slovenia for the European Freeski Cup with the ÖSV Freeski Team! We checked in at a great hotel with very good food, great rooms and a big wellness area- I felt like a little princess and a dream coming true :)

The first competition on saturday was quite hard because in the training time the weather was quite bad and i was very nervous. But in the qualification and in the final i did a good job and achieved the FIRST PLACE – as well on sunday!

I am super super stoked about this and very excited and i want to thank everybody who joined us in Slovenia! Hell Yeah,- to be continued!!!

05.03.2012 Qparks Tour Stop Lenzerheide by Nici Scheichl/Teamrider

Last week i went to Lenzerheide, to one of the Qpark Tour stops. The weather was not that good but the sun came out just at the right time when the girls started the qualification. Very very unexpected i made the FIRST PLACE and I am super stoked and also a little surprised!! The more it surprised me when i found out that i took over the captaincy of the whole Qparks Tour for while! NICE!! :-)

05.03.2012 Volcom Peanut Butter Rail Jam 2012 by Simone Hütter/Teamrider

Last Saturday I went to the Sane! Rinn Jib Park near Innsbruck where the Volcom Peanut Butter Rail Jam Austria Stop took place.

It was a super fun day and I didn’t really had the feeling that it’s a contest, it was more like a session riding together with people you know, good music, good atmosphere and a really good rail set-up (of which I was a bit afraid in the beginning, cause there were stairs beside the rails, but then I got used to it and started to like it :-) )

After a long slushy and sunny day I went home with SECOND PLACE! Happy snowboarding!

20.02.2012 Sick Trick Tour – Review

On Saturday, the CHIXNGRAVY girls Eva, Simone and Betty went to Kitzbühel to compete at the Sick Trick Tour Open, which was also part of the QParks Snowboardtour. The Park was in a good shape and the course included a line of 3 kickers and a wall ride! Simone made it to the finals of the best four girls and ended up in the finals (a bit unlucky) at the 4th place. Eva went home with the good 5th place! Betty unfortunately didn’t stick her qualification run, but she still had a good time riding. There were a lot of girls competing and the riding level of the girls was very high, so these are not the worst results!

All in all the Chixngravy girls had a very nice bluebird day in Kitzbühel and enjoyed riding together!

Hey out there!
Last Saturday Eva and I competed at the King of Steel competition in Waidring. Although it was freeeeezingly cold, we had a super nice and funny day. After a few cups of tea we were ready for some riding with the girls. In the end we made the 3th and 4th place. Now we are looking forward to the Sick Trick Snowboard open next Saturday in Kitzbühel.

08.02.2012 1st place at the Two Fifty Masters in Feldberg by Nici Scheichl/Teamrider

Brrrrrrrr it´s unbelievable cold the last days but nevertheless passionate freeskiers travel to the mountains- so did we! My friends and i went to Feldberg in Schwarzwald near Freiburg to join the Two Fifty Masters of the Q-parks tour. -20 degrees but a lot of fun! We heated up the atmosphere with crazy stuff like arobics on the mountain! But we also did some seriouse tricks on the kickers! Fabian Braitsch made the first place, Daniel Moder got third and i got on the podium with the first place which made me very happy!!

31.01.2012 3rd place at the European Freestyle Cup! by Nici Scheichl/Teamrider

Last week I took part at the European Freestyle Cup in Brand, Vorarlberg, where you could collect Fis points for Soci 2014! My training on Wednesday was quite bad and i crashed a few times very very hard.

On the first contest day on thursday i had a few good and safe runs and i got into the finals where I ended up on the 4th place. On friday i felt more confident and i was in a very good mood because of the good result the day before. In the finals i focused all my energy and made a 540 on the first kicker and switch 540 on the second one and i made it!! - allthough i have not trained switch 540´s since New Zealand two years ago. I was really stoked and got the 3rd place which makes me SOOOO HAPPY!

The European Freeski Cup 2012 was a great event, with a very high and international level! Media also showed interest! – ORF interviewed me for TV, they even made a sportsprofil for the newspaper.
